No REFUNDS. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the Executive Director.
My son is still 4 but will be 5 in November. Can he register in the age 5 - 7 division?
Yes! If your child will be 5 before the end of the year, he or she may register in our age 5 -7 division. Divisions are based on birth year.
Can I register with any community centre?
To ensure fair play for all, children ages 7 and up must register with community centre in their catchment area.
Where are games?
Games are typically played in gyms available close to your region.
When do I get tax receipt?
Your tax receipt is the confirmation email you received upon registering online. We do not issue separate tax receipts. You can also check your transaction history in your RAMP account.
Do the regular season games impact the playoff berths?
All teams in the scoring divisions (ages 11 and up) make the playoffs. Regular season games determine your seeding for the playoff bracket.
Can I change my catchment area?
No. To ensure fair play for all, children ages 7 years and up must register with the community centre in their catchment area.
Can I register my son if we don’t live in Winnipeg?
Yes! The WMBA accepts registrations from anywhere in MB and Northwestern ON.
For ages 9 and 10, what's the appropriate size basketball?
For that age group a size 5 (or 27.5") is the correct size.
