Please check the schedules often as times and locations may change. Also, please note that the standings listed online may not be the final standings once the leagues tie breaking procedures have been calculated. Final standings are listed within the playoff draws. Coaches are reminded that all community club players who attend an entire game must receive equal playing time as the other players on their team in that game. Limiting playing time during playoffs for disciplinary purposes is not allowed. Any league game or playoff game where the equal playing time rule has been violated may be declared a forfeit, regardless of the outcome of the game.

Spring only Rising Stars teams is Monday, March 22nd from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Sport Manitoba (145 Pacific Ave). Please email the league in advance of this date to declare your intent to register and ensure a spot in the league.

You can now register for WMBA HoopFest on the WMBA web site. The event, in its 12th year, is set for Saturday March 20 at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre and is exclusive to boys and girls ages 5-11 who are currently participating on WMBA teams this season. HoopFest is an interactive skills competition that features 8 different stations testing a player’s abilities to pass, shoot and dribble.

Basketball Manitoba is pleased to launch a new initiative aimed to
attract more young people into becoming a new basketball referee or
coach. The 'Be a Coach' promotion is targeting young adults in the 18-25
age range to continue with the sport this April in a different
capacity. With most people in this age range seeing their basketball
involvement coming to end, we want to open another chapter with your
love for the game of basketball! Basketball Manitoba, the MBCA, CABO and make province wide rulings and selections for provincial tournaments and are responsible for the growth, organization, and development of Manitoba basketball officials, MABO, WMBA and MHSAA are offering free coach clinics to these people this
April to make basketball a 'sport for life'. To register for the free

The University of Manitoba and the Junior Bison program are committed
to supporting basketball in our community and will be hosting our
annual tournament in the spring of 2010. We are welcoming teams from
within and out of province to come participate in an action packed
weekend of competitive basketball. Only teams with completed
