Basketball Training with NorthStar Prep - July and August Sessions
The WMBA is happy to announce we are teaming up with Peg City Basketball and North Star Prepatory Institute again!
Registration closes on July 31st, 2022. Sessions will start on August 2nd.
Space will be limited but we hope to accommodate as many young players as possible. The available sessions are outlined below:
About Northstar Preparatory Institute: The Northstar Preparatory Institute is a program for elite players who are considering continuing their careers at the college or university level. The program provides development and exposure in a way that very few around the country, and no other in Manitoba, can. Student athletes thrive in the program's focussed and supportive culture.
Training Sessions (Led by North Star Prep coaches and student-athletes):
July Outdoor Training (Tuesdays and Thursdays) - 8 total training sessions, 1 hour per session
Ages 7-9, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
Ages 10-12, 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
Ages 13-15, 8:00pm - 9:00 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
Venues: Dakota Community Centre, Corydon Community Centre, Oxford Heights Community Centre, Garden City Community Centre
Cost: $180
The start date for July programming will be July 5th.
August Outdoor Training (Tuesdays and Thursdays) - 8 total training sessions, 1 hour per session
Ages 7-9, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
Ages 10-12, 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
Ages 13-15, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Limited to 20 players per session)
