Details:

1. An 8 game season will be played with a 1 game playoff guarantee (9 to 10 total games) will be offered.
2. Games can be scheduled to start as early as 5:00 p.m. and as late as 9:45 p.m.
   
3. Teams can be formed with players from anywhere (no boundaries).
4. A team needs a minimum of 8 players (and no more than 15) on the roster to be eligible.
5. Registration fee for the 2010 Senior Spring League is $1200 per team (ONE CHEQUE payable to ‘WMBA’). A reduction of $35.00 per team would be available to existing 2009-10 Winnipeg Senior Women’s Basketball League (WSWBL) or Labatt Super Men’s League teams (U of Wpg Men’s League) teams. If a winter team were to add a new player to their roster, there would be a $15 fee per person for the membership / insurance (payable to 'Basketball MB').
6. Teams must complete a Team Registration Form and submit the full payment (cheques payable to ‘WMBA’) on or before March 22nd, 2010.
7. The league requires a minimum of 4 teams in each of the Men’s and Women’s League for the league to occur. A maximum of 10 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
8. Teams will need to provide their own uniforms. Refer to our Uniform Specifications for details on minimum requirements if ordering new ones.
9. The Men’s Senior League is exclusive to players age 18-29 only (born 1981 through 1992).
10. The Women’s League is open to players ages 18 and up (born in 1992 or older; no cap on age). Players born in 1992 or later must play in either the WMBA Community Club or the Rising Stars League. Players cannot play ‘up’ into the ‘Senior’ division. No exceptions.
11. Teams do not require a coach (but can have one), however a 'Team Rep.’ must be designated to act as a contact with the WMBA.
12. The WMBA will provide trained scorekeepers to all league games.
13. Individuals: If you do not have enough players to form a team, EMAIL us your name, gender, age, playing experience, phone number and your playing experience and we will do our best to match you up with a teams or people also in your situation. We can’t guarantee we will find you a team and do suggest you contact some former teammates in the meantime to get a team going on your own.
